I was just saying how I will NOT miss national pie day and it looks like I am since it is today :( I really should look ahead sometimes. Oh well, I'll have to have national pie day observed some other day.

I just finished putting up the outside lights, the only thing I am missing is my extender cord to plug them all in and it is at our neighbors. I will get it tomorrow probably, they don't look home right now. Lars helped this year so it went way faster and the

e new ladder did help a lot. I really am not a fan of standing on very tall ladders or on the roof but once a year it is ok. Next task is inside decorations and grocery shopping, Lars is working now so I'm heading out solo. Here is a cute pic of Lars' impression of a gargoyle on the roof, pictures of the lights will be up tomorrow.
